Rehabilitation of the drinking water system of Le Prêtre.
Built in the 1980s by POCHEP a state agency, It has been over 25 years since the system d The priest's drinking water is destroyed. Since its destruction, the population se quenches their thirst in an undrinkable river, which has had serious consequences on the health of the citizens of the area.
UDDES in its mission to contribute to the capacity building of vulnerable communities in an innovative and sustainable way was able to launch the rehabilitation works of this system in October 2021 and was inaugurated on July 31, 2022.
Work carried out During the rehabilitation:
- Repair of sedimentation, storage and distribution tanks.
- The general recovery of the water pipe line
- The reconstruction of 5 old water fountains
- The construction of 3 new water fountains
